Is the Sangean PR-D6 worth it?

If you want a no-frills AM/FM radio with long battery life, yes. If you want presets, a clock or Bluetooth, spend more on a digital model.

How long do the batteries last?

Sangean rates it at up to 100 hours on four AA batteries. Real-world life depends on volume and how much you use the speaker.

Does it come with a power adapter?

It runs on 6V and ships with an AC adapter, so you can use it plugged in or on batteries.

Can it receive AM and FM?

Yes, it tunes both AM and FM. FM uses the telescopic antenna; AM reception varies with location and nearby electronics.

Does it have Bluetooth or an aux input?

No. It is a plain AM/FM radio with a built-in speaker and no Bluetooth, aux or USB audio input.

Small radios like this often dip during back-to-school and holiday sales. Check the price history before buying.
