Our take on the Scott Supertrac 3 GTX Trail Running Shoes

The Scott Supertrac 3 GTX is a waterproof women's trail running shoe built for wet, muddy and rocky ground. Questions and answers

Is the Scott Supertrac 3 GTX worth it?
If you run wet, muddy trails and want dry feet without a heavy boot, it is a solid pick at $132.95 at Triathlete Sports as of November 3, 2026. If you mostly run dry, hardpack trails, a non-waterproof shoe breathes better and costs less.
How does it compare with the non-GTX Supertrac 3?
The GTX adds a Gore-Tex membrane for waterproofing and a bit more warmth and weight. The standard version breathes better and dries faster, which many runners prefer in summer.
Does the waterproofing hold up?
The Gore-Tex liner keeps water out of rain, puddles and mud, and the mesh upper stays reasonably breathable. Water can still enter over the collar in deep stream crossings.
How does it fit?
This is a women's medium-width shoe in size 6, and some owners report a snug fit. If you wear thick socks or have wide feet, consider sizing up or trying it on first.
What is in the box?
One pair of Scott Supertrac 3 GTX shoes in Metal Blue/Rose Beige. No extras such as a spare set of laces or insoles are included.
When is it cheapest?
The lowest new price seen is $132.95 at Triathlete Sports as of November 3, 2026, with only one store listing it new. With so little competition, discounts are likely to be small and tied to end-of-season clearance.
Where is the Scott Supertrac 3 GTX Trail Running Shoes cheapest?
