Questions and answers

Is the Supertrac RC 2 worth it at $69.95?
At $69.95 at Skimo & SkyRun as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way into a dedicated trail race shoe. Buy it if you race short, technical trails; skip it if you want plush cushioning for long runs.
How does it compare with the original Supertrac RC?
The RC 2 keeps the low, firm race platform and grippy lug pattern of the original. It is a refinement for racing rather than a cushioned all-day trainer.
Is it good for long ultramarathons?
No. The thin, firm midsole is built for short, fast races. For 50K and beyond, most runners want more cushioning.
How does the sizing run?
It has a snug race fit. Runners between sizes or with wide feet should consider going up a half size.
What is in the box?
One pair of shoes. No insoles beyond the stock footbed or extras are included.
When is it cheapest?
Trail shoes like this drop most when a new model replaces them or at end-of-season clearance. The current $69.95 at Skimo & SkyRun as of November 4, 2026 is already well below typical launch pricing.
Where is the Scott Supertrac RC 2 Women's Trail Running Shoes cheapest?
At Skimo & SkyRun, for $69.95, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Scott Supertrac RC 2 Women's Trail Running Shoes?
Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 13 ratings.
Where can I buy the Scott Supertrac RC 2 Women's Trail Running Shoes?
3 stores we checked sell it, including Skimo & SkyRun, Sole Desire, SportsShoes.com.
