Is the Sealy Posturepedic Indy good for side sleepers?

Yes. The plush tight top gives side sleepers cushioning at the shoulder and hip. Stomach sleepers usually want a firmer surface.

Does it work with an adjustable base?

Yes. Sealy lists adjustable bed frames and adjustable bases as compatible. The mattress is sold without a foundation, so you supply the base.

What size is the 53-by-74-inch model?

That is a small full, narrower and shorter than a standard full. Check your frame and sheets before buying.

How firm is the Indy?

Sealy rates it plush, the softest end of the Posturepedic range. Heavier sleepers may sink in more than expected.

How should I clean it?

Spot clean only. The MoistureProtect cover is not removable for machine washing.

Our take on the Sealy Posturepedic Indy 13" Tight Top Mattress

The Sealy Posturepedic Indy is a 13-inch innerspring mattress with a plush tight top over a foam layer and individually encased PrecisionFit coils. The cover uses Sealy's MoistureProtect fabric, and the mattress is built in the USA. It works on adjustable bases and is sold as a mattress only, with no foundation. The 53-by-74-inch size is a small full, so measure your frame before ordering.
