Is the Secura frother worth it at $45?

At $45.00 at eBay as of November 8, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the 3 stores listing it. For one or two hot drinks a day, a one-touch stainless steel frother at that price is a reasonable buy.

How much milk can it froth at once?

The pitcher holds 250 ml, and frothing capacity is about 8.4 oz. That is enough for one large latte or two small cappuccinos.

Can I put the pitcher in the dishwasher?

No. The dishwasher-safe parts are none, so wash the stainless steel pitcher by hand. The base is detachable, which makes lifting and rinsing easier.

How hot does it get the milk?

It warms milk to a range of 140°F to 160°F. Hot frothing takes about 2–3 minutes, and plain warming takes 3–4 minutes.

Does it have a steam wand?

No. It is a closed automatic frother, so you pour frothed milk into your cup rather than steaming into it. That means less control over texture than an espresso machine wand.

What comes in the box?

You get the stainless steel frothing pitcher, the electric base and the lid. Listings describe it as new, unused and unopened in the original packaging.
