Our take on the SEDETA 55 Inch Fluted Electric Standing Desk with 6 Drawers

The SEDETA 55 Inch Fluted Electric Standing Desk pairs a 55-inch wood top with a fluted front panel and six built-in drawers, plus a power outlet and USB ports. It raises and lowers by electric motor, so you can switch between sitting and standing through the day. The latest best new price is $159.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, and three stores carry it new. At that price it undercuts most electric desks with this much storage.

Best forHome office users who want storage built into the deskGamers and remote workers with monitors, consoles and cablesSmall rooms where a separate filing cabinet won't fitBuyers who want an electric sit-stand desk under $200
Pros
  • Six drawers keep office supplies and devices out of sight
  • Built-in power outlet and USB ports cut cable clutter
  • Electric height adjustment for sitting and standing
  • 55-inch wood top leaves room for a monitor and laptop
  • Fluted front panel gives it a furniture look, not a bare frame
Cons
  • Drawers and motor add weight, so assembly is a two-person job
  • 55 inches is tight for dual large monitors plus speakers
  • Drawer depth is shallow, so it won't replace a full filing cabinet
  • Motor and frame quality are a step below premium desk brands

Questions and answers

Is the SEDETA 55 inch standing desk worth it?
At $159.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is one of the cheapest electric desks that includes drawers and a power outlet. If you need storage and sit-stand switching on a budget, it is a strong buy. If you need a very stable desk for heavy equipment, spend more.
How tall does the desk go?
It adjusts by electric motor between sitting and standing heights, but the range is modest. Very tall users may find the top standing height low, so check the listed range before buying.
How much assembly does it need?
Expect a flat-pack build with the frame, motor, legs and six drawers to put together. Plan on an hour or two and a second person, since the boxed parts are heavy.
Can the drawers hold files?
The six drawers are best for supplies, cables and small devices. They are shallow, so full-size hanging files won't fit; keep a separate cabinet for paperwork.
What colors does it come in?
It is offered in White, Rustic Brown, and Brown and White. The fluted front panel is the same across finishes.
When is it cheapest?
The best new price seen is $159.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, with three stores selling it new. Compare those stores before buying, and watch for holiday furniture sales.
