- Is the Segmart offset smoker worth it at $98.99?
- At $98.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to get a barrel grill with a smoker box. Expect budget build quality; it suits occasional cooks, not year-round smoking.
- How much food fits on it?
- Total cooking area is 338 square inches, with a 20.87-inch main grate that Segmart rates for about 15 burgers. The offset box adds room for ribs or a small brisket.
- Does it need assembly?
- No. The listing states assembly is not required, so it should be usable shortly after unboxing.
- Can it hold low-and-slow temperatures?
- It can, but the small firebox and thin steel mean frequent fuel additions and close watching. Many owners report leaks and uneven heat that make steady smoking difficult.
- Is it cheaper at other times of year?
- Only one store lists it new, so there is no price history to compare. Charcoal grills usually see the deepest discounts in late summer and around Black Friday.
- How does it compare with a dedicated offset smoker?
- Dedicated offsets cost several times more but use thicker steel and seal better. The Segmart trades that durability for a low price and a combined grill-and-smoker setup.
- Where is the Segmart Charcoal Grill with Offset Smoker cheapest?
- At Walmart, for $98.99, as of our latest check.
- What do buyers say about the Segmart Charcoal Grill with Offset Smoker?
