Is the SENIX 18-inch gas mower self-propelled?

No. It is a hand-push mower, so you supply the forward effort, which matters most on slopes.

Does it come with oil and need assembly?

The engine oil is pre-filled, so you add gas and start it. Assembly is limited to unfolding the handle and attaching the wheels and discharge chute.

Can I bag or mulch with it?

No. It is side discharge only, with no bag or mulch plug in the box.

Our take on the SENIX Gas Lawn Mower

The SENIX 18-inch gas push mower is a basic walk-behind mower with a 144cc 4-cycle engine, side discharge and a 3-position manual height adjustment. It ships with oil already in the engine, so it starts after a quick assembly. The 18-inch deck and 7-inch wheels make it easier to steer around beds and tight corners than a wide self-propelled mower. Its best new price is $179.99 at Amazon as of November 8, 2026, the low end for a gas push mower and a fair entry point.
