Is the SereneLife egg chair easy to assemble?

It goes together with basic tools, but plan on an hour or more and a second person to hold the basket while you attach it.

Does it need to be hung from a ceiling?

No. The included stand carries the chair, so no drilling or ceiling mount is needed.
