Our take on the Sevenine Cedarpray 52 in. Outdoor Plug-In Ceiling Fan with Light

The Sevenine Cedarpray is a 52-inch outdoor-rated ceiling fan with an integrated light and a remote control. The 52-inch span moves plenty of air for patios, porches and large rooms, and the included remote handles speed and light without pull chains. It is a plug-in model, so it needs an outlet rather than hardwiring. No current price or price history was available for this page, so check the live comparison before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this fan worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you need a large outdoor fan with a light and a remote and you have an outlet nearby. Compare its live price against other 52-inch outdoor fans with lights before deciding.
Does it need to be hardwired?
No. It is a plug-in fan, so it runs from a standard outlet. That makes installation easier, but the cord has to reach an outlet and should be routed neatly.
Can it be used in rain?
Outdoor-rated fans are meant for covered areas like porches and patios, not direct rain. Mount it under a roof with some protection from weather.
What size room does a 52-inch fan suit?
A 52-inch fan fits large rooms and open patios, roughly 350 to 450 square feet. Smaller rooms may feel over-powered at high speed.
Does the remote control the light too?
Yes. The fan ships with a remote, and with lighting included the remote handles both fan speed and the light.
When is the best time to buy?
Outdoor fans often drop in late summer and around winter clearance. Set a price alert and compare across stores rather than buying at the first listing.
