Our take on the Sevorley Canvas Bell Camping Tent with Stove Jack

The Sevorley Canvas Bell Camping Tent is a three-person bell tent in cream, made from Oxford fabric and fitted with a stove jack so a compatible tent stove can be used inside. Bell tents give standing room near the center and a single-pole pitch, which suits basecamp and cold-weather camping. Its price has held at $239.02 since tracking began on October 31, 2026, so there is no cheaper day to wait for yet.

Best forCold-weather campers who want a stove inside the tentCouples or small families wanting standing headroomCar campers and basecamp setups that don't move daily
Pros
  • Stove jack allows a compatible wood stove for heat
  • Bell shape gives headroom near the center pole
  • Oxford fabric is heavier and more durable than thin polyester
  • Three-person capacity fits a couple plus gear
  • Single center pole is quick to pitch
Cons
  • Heavier and bulkier to carry than a backpacking tent
  • No price movement since tracking began, so no discount to chase
  • Stove, stovepipe and flashing are not included
  • Canvas and Oxford tents need full drying before storage
  • Guy lines and stakes need a large, open pitch

Questions and answers

Is the stove jack ready to use out of the box?
The jack is an opening for a compatible tent stove, but the stove and pipe are sold separately. You also need to check that your stove's pipe diameter matches the jack.
How many people fit comfortably?
It is listed for three people. A couple with gear or two adults and a child fit well; three adults plus stove and gear will be tight.
Is it good for cold-weather camping?
Yes, that is its main draw. With a compatible stove running, it holds heat far better than a mesh summer tent, but you must manage ventilation and carbon monoxide risk.
How does it compare with a nylon dome tent?
It is heavier and slower to pack but gives standing room and stove capability. A dome tent is the better pick for backpacking or warm-weather trips.
Is $239.02 a good price?
That has been the only price recorded since October 31, 2026, so there is no lower recent price to compare against. Treat it as the current market price rather than a deal.
What do I need to pitch it?
Plan for a footprint large enough for the bell plus stakes and guy lines, and check campsite size limits first. Bring a mallet for stakes and a pole if one is not included.
