Is the Shark AquaReach worth it?

It makes sense if most of your home is sealed hard floor and you want vacuuming and mopping in one light tool. If you have carpet or large open floors, a separate vacuum and mop will likely serve you better.

Does it work on carpet?

No. It is a hard-floor vacuum and mop, so use it on sealed tile, vinyl, laminate and similar surfaces. Keep it off carpet and unsealed wood.

How often do I refill the tank?

The tank holds 0.09 gal, which is small. On a typical kitchen and bathroom you may refill once or twice; whole-floor mopping will need several refills.

It weighs 12 oz, which is light for a vacuum-mop combo. That makes it easy to carry upstairs or hold over a spill.

What comes in the box?

Expect the vacuum-mop unit, a battery and charger, and at least one mop pad or roller. Check the listing for the exact pad count before ordering.

Cordless floor cleaners usually drop during Black Friday, Prime Day and back-to-school sales. Watch the price history and buy when it sits near its recent low.

Our take on the Shark AquaReach Hard Floor Vacuum and Mop

The Shark AquaReach is a cordless hard-floor vacuum and mop in one unit. It weighs 12 oz, so it is light enough to carry room to room, and the 0.09 gal tank is small, so expect to refill often on big floors. It is built for sealed hard floors, not carpet.
