Is the Shark Clean & Empty worth it?

It is a good fit if you want a light stick vacuum that empties itself and traps allergens. If you need maximum suction or long runtime on high power, a plug-in or premium cordless model will suit you better.

How long does the battery last?

Shark rates it at up to 40 minutes in Eco mode, measured at the hand vacuum. Expect noticeably less on the higher of the three speeds, and a full charge takes about 5 hours.

Does it come with a spare battery?

No. The box includes one removable DC-Jack battery pack, an 8-inch duster crevice tool and a pet multi-tool. Spare batteries and charging cords are sold separately.

How does it compare to the Shark Vertex Pro?

It is about 30% lighter than the Vertex Pro and adds the auto-empty base. The trade-off is less suction than top in-class models, especially on lower power settings.

What is the dust cup and dock capacity?

The vacuum's dust cup holds 0.42L, and the auto-empty base holds 1.3L. The base collects fine dust after each clean, so you empty the dock far less often than a cup.
