Questions and answers

Is this shed kit worth it compared with a prebuilt shed?
The kit costs less than most comparably sized prebuilt sheds and lets you customize the door location. The trade-off is your own labor, which can run several weekends for two people.
How hard is assembly?
It is a full framing and roofing project with 2x4 walls, OSB decking and shingles. Basic carpentry experience and a second helper are strongly recommended.
Can the doors go on the side?
Yes. The kit allows the double doors on the front or the side, which helps on narrow lots or where the driveway runs along the building.
How much wind can it handle?
It is rated to 115 mph maximum wind resistance and a roof load of 30 lbs per sq ft. Local code may still require anchoring and permits.
What is not included?
The kit covers framing, siding, decking and shingles, but paint, trim finishing and a foundation or slab are typically extra. Check the box contents before ordering.
When is the price lowest?
The recent low was $2,499.00 on November 2, 2026, against a high of $2,999.00 on October 30, 2026. Watch for drops toward the low end before buying.
