Our take on the Shoulder & Neck Heating Pad Wrap, 3 Heat Settings, 2-Hour Auto-Off, Machine Washable, 120w, 37 x 24 in, Dark Gray

This is a corded electric heating pad shaped as a wearable wrap for the neck, shoulders and upper back. It offers three heat settings, a two-hour auto-off and a machine-washable plush polyester cover. The 37 x 24 in contour cut is meant to drape over the shoulders and stay put while you sit or move around. It is a basic plug-in pad, not a battery or weighted model, so it suits desk and couch use near an outlet.

Questions and answers

Is this heating pad worth it for neck and shoulder pain?
It is a reasonable pick if you want steady heat across the neck and shoulders while sitting near an outlet. It is not a substitute for treatment of ongoing pain, and a cordless or weighted wrap may suit you better if you move around.
How hot does it get on the highest setting?
With 120W and three settings, the top level runs noticeably warm and can feel hot through thin clothing. Start on low and add a layer between the pad and skin.
Can I wash the whole pad?
The plush polyester cover is machine washable, but the electrical element and cord are not. Detach the cord and follow the care label before washing.
Does it shut off automatically?
Yes. It turns off after two hours, which is fixed and not adjustable. That is useful if you fall asleep, but it may cut off sooner than you want for long sessions.
What is in the box?
You get the single heating pad wrap and its attached cord. No cover, strap or storage bag is listed beyond the pad itself.
When is the price likely to be lowest?
Heating pads like this usually drop during cold-weather months and holiday sales. Check the price history on this page before buying to see whether the current price is near its low.
