Is this scope made for air rifles?

Yes. Simmons markets the Pro Target Air line for airguns, and the adjustable objective lets you focus down to close airgun ranges. It is not intended for high-recoil centerfire rifles.

What does the adjustable objective do?

It focuses the scope and removes parallax error at the distance you set. That matters for airgun shooting, where targets are often 10 to 30 yards away.

What magnification does it offer?

It zooms from 3x to 9x. That range suits backyard targets and short-range pest control but is limited for long-distance precision.

What mounts does it need?

It uses standard 1-inch rings, sold separately. Check that your air rifle has a dovetail or Picatinny rail and buy rings that fit it.

Is $99.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026, at Tractor Supply Co, so there is no recent range to compare it with. Compare it against other adjustable-objective airgun scopes before buying.
