- Is the Around the Block worth it at $249?
- At $249 at Sabi Goods as of November 4, 2026, it is priced at the low end of the five new listings. For flat, casual riding it is a reasonable buy; if you face hills, a geared bike is a better use of the money.
- Can it handle hills?
- Not well. It has a single gear and weighs 34 lbs, so steep or long climbs will be a struggle. It suits flat beach paths, boardwalks and neighborhood streets.
- What size rider fits it?
- It is a men's 26-inch cruiser with an upright, ergonomic frame. It is aimed at average adult heights, and the 300 lb load capacity covers most riders.
- Does it come with hand brakes?
- No. The only brake is a coaster brake, applied by pedaling backward. There are no hand levers, which some riders need time to adjust to.
- What is in the box?
- The bike ships mostly assembled and needs the front wheel, handlebars, seat and pedals fitted. Check the listing for included tools and any accessories.
- When is it cheapest?
- Cruisers often drop outside summer. Track the price history here and compare the five stores; $249 at Sabi Goods as of November 4, 2026 is the current best new price.
