Is the sixthreezero rickshaw worth it?

It makes sense if your main job is carrying passengers short distances on paved paths. If you mostly ride alone, a standard electric trike is lighter, faster and easier to store.

How fast and how far can it go?

sixthreezero lists a recommended riding speed of 1 to 16 mph and a range of 1 to 50 miles. Expect the low end of that range with two passengers, hills or heavy throttle use.

How much weight can it carry?

The total capacity is 500 lbs, counting the rider and both passengers. Check that figure against your combined weight before buying.

How big is the rear bench?

The rear passenger space is about 26 inches (66 cm) wide. That fits two smaller adults or children; larger passengers will be tight.

Does it fit in a garage or on a car rack?

At 158 lbs and with a wide rear bench, it is not a car-rack bike. Plan on ground-level storage with a wide door or ramp.

When is the best time to buy?

Watch for end-of-season sales in late summer and fall, and compare prices across stores. This page tracks the price history so you can see when it dips.

Our take on the sixthreezero EVRYjourney Electric 750W Tricycle Rickshaw

The sixthreezero EVRYjourney Electric 750W Tricycle Rickshaw is a three-wheeled electric people carrier with a step-through aluminum frame, a rear bench about 26 inches wide, and a 750W motor. It is rated for a 500 lb total load and a recommended range of 1 to 50 miles at 1 to 16 mph. Front suspension and a suspension seat post soften the ride, and the steel fork adds durability. It is a niche machine built for carrying passengers, not for speed or tight storage.
