Our take on the Sixthreezero Relaxed Body 750W Electric Tricycle

The Sixthreezero Relaxed Body is a three-wheel electric trike with a 750W rear hub motor, a 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery and five pedal-assist levels. It pairs a low 13-inch step-through aluminum frame with a forward-pedaling, recumbent-style riding position, so riders sit low and reach the pedals ahead of the seat. Disc brakes and a rigid frame keep it simple; the 20-inch front wheel and 3-inch rear tires are built for pavement and around-town errands, not trails.

Best for
Riders who want stability and easy mounting
Seniors or riders with balance concerns
Errands and short town commutes
Riders who prefer an upright, low step-over frame
Pros
  • Three wheels give stability at stops and low speeds
  • Very low 13-inch step-over height makes mounting easy
  • 750W rear hub motor with five assist levels
  • 48V 15Ah battery is a decent size for town riding
  • Disc brakes add stopping confidence on a heavy trike
  • Aluminum frame keeps weight down versus steel trikes
Cons
  • Rigid frame and no suspension make rough pavement harsh
  • Wide rear track needs more space on paths and in storage
  • Heavy compared with a two-wheel e-bike
  • Forward-pedaling recumbent position takes getting used to
  • Not suited to trails or unpaved terrain

Questions and answers

Is the Sixthreezero Relaxed Body trike easy to get on and off?
Yes. The step-through frame has a 13-inch step-over height, among the lowest on adult trikes, so you can step through rather than swing a leg over. The forward-pedaling layout also means you sit down first and then reach the pedals.
How far can it go on a charge?
Sixthreezero does not publish a single range figure, and real range depends on assist level, rider weight and terrain. The 48V 15Ah battery is a mid-size pack for a trike this heavy, so expect shorter rides at high assist and longer ones in low assist.
Can I ride it on gravel or dirt paths?
It is designed for road and around-town use. The rigid frame, 20-inch front wheel and 3-inch rear tires handle pavement and packed paths, but the trike is not built for trails, loose gravel or curbs.
Does it have suspension?
No. The frame is rigid with a steel fork and no suspension fork or rear shock, so bumps are felt through the seat and bars. Lower tire pressure and moderate speed help on rough streets.
What is included with the trike?
You get the assembled trike with the 48V 15Ah battery, charger and the rear cargo basket area typical of this model. Check the listing for the exact accessory set, since Sixthreezero has offered it with different baskets and mirrors.
When is the best time to buy it?
Prices on Sixthreezero trikes tend to dip during spring sales and end-of-season clearance in late summer and fall. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
