- Is this kit worth it for a homeowner?
- Yes, if you need both a drill and a saw and want to stay on one battery. Two brushless tools plus a 4.0Ah battery for $229 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026 is a reasonable entry point.
- How many batteries come in the box?
- One PWRCore 20 4.0Ah lithium-ion battery, plus a PWRJUMP charger. You cannot charge and use the tools at the same time, so plan around recharge breaks.
- How deep can the circular saw cut?
- The 6-1/2-inch blade handles typical 2x lumber and sheet goods at 90 degrees. It falls short on deep cuts in thick timbers, where a 7-1/4-inch saw is the better tool.
- Does the battery fit other SKIL 20V tools?
- Yes. The PWRCore 20 battery works across SKIL's 20V lineup, so you can add bare tools later without buying more packs.
- What is included in the kit?
- The drill driver, the 6-1/2-inch circular saw with a 24-tooth carbide blade, one 4.0Ah battery and the PWRJUMP charger. No case or bag is included.
- When is it cheapest?
- Combo kits like this usually drop during holiday and spring tool sales. Check the price history before buying; the current new price is $229 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026.
