Our take on the Skull Shaver Palm Head Shaver & Baby Beast Trimmer Combo

The Skull Shaver Palm Head Shaver & Baby Beast Trimmer Combo pairs a palm-held rotary shaver for the scalp with a small detail trimmer for beards, mustaches and body hair. The Palm is built to be gripped in the palm and moved in circles over the head, which suits people who shave their head regularly rather than occasionally. The Baby Beast handles edges and shorter detail work the round Palm cutters can't reach. At $49.99 at Skull Shaver as of November 3, 2026, the bundle sits at the low end of what Skull Shaver charges for its two-piece kits, so it is a reasonable entry point if you want both tools.

Best forMen who shave their head weekly or moreAnyone who wants one kit for scalp, beard and bodyTravelers who want cordless, compact toolsFirst-time head shavers moving off cartridge razors
Pros
  • Palm grip gives close control over the curve of the head
  • Rotary cutters handle a few days of growth without clogging
  • Baby Beast adds edge and detail work the Palm can't do
  • Both tools are cordless and small enough for a dopp kit
  • Bundle price of $49.99 undercuts buying the two separately
Cons
  • Rotary shavers rarely match a blade for a skin-smooth finish
  • Round cutters can miss spots behind the ears and at the neckline
  • Replacement cutter heads add ongoing cost
  • Small trimmer is for detail work, not bulk beard reduction
  • No charging dock or case listed in the kit

Questions and answers

Is the Skull Shaver Palm combo worth $49.99?
At $49.99 at Skull Shaver as of November 3, 2026, it is a fair price for two cordless tools. It makes sense if you shave your head often and want a trimmer for edges; if you only shave occasionally, a single tool is cheaper.
How does the Palm compare with a cartridge razor for head shaving?
The Palm is faster and less likely to nick, and it works on dry or wet skin. A cartridge razor still gets closer, so expect a light shadow rather than a blade-smooth scalp.
Do I need to replace the cutter heads?
Yes. Skull Shaver recommends replacing rotary cutter heads periodically as they dull, and replacements are sold separately. Budget for that ongoing cost.
Can the Baby Beast trim a full beard?
It is a detail trimmer, so it works for necklines, mustaches and light body hair. For bulk beard length, a larger trimmer with adjustable guards is the better tool.
Is it cordless and can I use it in the shower?
Both tools are cordless and run on built-in batteries charged by USB. The Palm is designed for wet or dry use; check the trimmer's rating before rinsing it under water.
What comes in the box?
The combo includes the Palm head shaver, the Baby Beast trimmer and charging cables. It does not include a travel case or charging stand.
Where is the Skull Shaver Palm Head Shaver & Baby Beast Trimmer Combo cheapest?
At Skull Shaver, for $49.99, 50% off, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Skull Shaver Palm Head Shaver & Baby Beast Trimmer Combo?
Buyers like: Reviewers love their order; 100% of reviewers would recommend the product.
