Questions and answers

Is this mattress pad actually waterproof?
Yes. It has a waterproof backing under the microfiber top, and owners report spills and accidents do not reach the mattress. Wash and dry it on low to keep the backing intact.
Will it fit a thick mattress?
The deep pocket knit skirt is built for mattresses up to about 14 inches, which covers most standard and pillow-top beds. Measure your mattress depth before ordering.
Does it make the bed sleep hot?
It can. The polyester fill and waterproof layer hold warmth more than cotton, so hot sleepers may prefer a breathable cotton pad.
How do I wash it?
It is machine washable. Use cold or warm water on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low; avoid high heat, which can damage the waterproof backing.
Is it the same as a mattress topper?
No. It is a thin protective pad with light plush fill, not a thick comfort layer. If you want to soften a firm mattress, choose a foam or down topper instead.
When is the best time to buy it?
Prices swing with bedding sales around holidays and back-to-school season. Track the price history here and buy when it dips near its recent low.
Where is the Sleep Philosophy Serenity Waterproof Mattress Pad cheapest?
