Is the Sleepy's King 8.25" good for side sleepers?

It is firm, and most side sleepers need more cushioning at the shoulder and hip. Back and stomach sleepers are the better fit.

What sheets fit an 8.25-inch mattress?

Standard king sheets fit, but deep-pocket sheets made for 14-inch mattresses will look loose. Look for sheets rated for mattresses up to about 10 inches.

Does it need a box spring?

A spring mattress works on a box spring, a slatted frame or a platform bed. A platform bed keeps the low 8.25-inch profile and needs no box spring.

Is $249.99 a good price for a king mattress?

It is a low price for a king, and only one store prices it new as of November 7, 2026, so there is no cheaper new listing to wait for. Expect basic materials at this price.

How long should this mattress last?

Budget spring mattresses with a thin foam layer typically last around five to seven years with regular rotation. Rotate it every few months to limit sagging.
