Is this a physical cartridge with the full game on it?

No. It is a game-key card, so the cartridge provides a license and the game must be downloaded. You need a microSD card with enough free space and an internet connection.

Does SnowRunner on Switch 2 support 4-player co-op?

Yes. Up to 4 players can play co-operatively online, and the game also supports offline play for a single player.

Is $35.98 a good price for SnowRunner on Switch 2?

It is the lowest new price among the 8 stores listing it as of November 8, 2026, so it is a strong entry point. Prices for game-key releases tend to fall over time, so waiting could save a little more.

How does this compare with SnowRunner on Switch 1?

The Switch 2 version is the same game with the same vehicle roster and co-op. The main difference is the platform; check for Switch 2-specific performance improvements before upgrading.

Do I need to have played MudRunner or Spintires first?

No. SnowRunner stands on its own, and the tutorials cover the basics. Experience with the earlier games helps with route planning but is not required.

What is included in the box?

You get the game-key card and the download license. There is no disc or full game data on the card, and no DLC season pass is included unless the listing says so.
