Best Nintendo Switch 2 games

Start with Metroid Prime 4: Beyond — the safest first buy for a new Switch 2 owner: a big, polished Nintendo adventure that shows off the hardware and suits almost anyone.

Then pick by taste:

• Pokémon Pokopia — the coziest pick; a gentle life-sim that's easy to sink hours into, and the best-reviewed of the bunch.
• Kirby Air Riders — for playing with others; fast, chaotic racing that's great in short bursts with friends.
• Indiana Jones & The Great Circle — if you want a cinematic, story-driven blockbuster.
• Resident Evil Requiem — for horror fans; mature, tense and atmospheric.
• SnowRunner — for patient players who like slow, methodical off-road sims.
• Yakuza 0: Director's Cut — a story-rich brawler with a lot of personality.

Skip Cyberpunk 2077 and Street Fighter 6 here — those listings are PlayStation 5 versions, not Switch 2.
