Is the Sole E98 worth $2,899.99?

It is a lot of money for a home elliptical. Buyers who want a long stride, incline and a large screen and will use it often get the most from it.

How is it different from the Sole E95?

The E98 adds a larger touchscreen and upgraded console over the E95. The frame and stride feel are close, so the screen is the main reason to pay more.

Does the E98 have incline?

Yes. It has power incline, so you can raise the ramp to shift effort to glutes and hamstrings.

How much space does it need?

Plan for a dedicated area of roughly 7 by 3 feet, plus clearance behind for mounting and the moving pedals.

What does the 13.3-inch display show?

The console tracks time and calories and supports streaming apps on the touchscreen.

Home fitness machines usually drop during Black Friday and New Year sales. Check the price history before buying at full price.

Our take on the Sole E98 Elliptical

The Sole E98 is Sole's top home elliptical, built around a heavy flywheel, a long 20-inch stride and a power-adjustable incline. Its standout feature is a 13.3-inch touchscreen that shows time and calories and connects to streaming apps. At $2,899.99 at Dick's Sporting Goods as of November 8, 2026, it sits at the top of Sole's elliptical line and near the ceiling of home elliptical pricing.
