Songmics velvet hangers are slim, flocked hangers meant to stop clothes from slipping and to free up rod space. This set of 50 comes assembled, each hanger 17.1 inches wide, so it fits standard closets and most shirts, blouses and light jackets. The flocked surface grips silky and knit fabrics, and the flat profile packs more garments into the same rod length than plastic or wood hangers.

With 4.8 out of 5 from 814 ratings, owners mostly report that the flocked surface keeps clothes from sliding and that the slim shape saves real closet space. Complaints center on durability and on the coating marking or shedding onto some garments.
