How many pairs does it really hold?

Songmics rates it at 50 pairs across nine shelves. In practice that assumes flat shoes and sandals; boots and bulky sneakers take more space.

Can I fit tall boots?

Yes, if you remove a shelf. The gap between shelves is 6.8 inches, so tall boots need one layer taken out.

Is the cover waterproof?

The cover is water-resistant nonwoven fabric, not waterproof. It handles dust and light splashes but not rain or standing water.

How long does assembly take?

Most buyers report roughly 30 to 60 minutes. Some tools are included, and the frame goes together with tubes and connectors.

At $32.99 at Target as of November 6, 2026, it is a low-cost way to store up to 50 pairs. Expect a basic fabric build rather than furniture-grade quality.

Where can it be used?

Entryway, bedroom, cloakroom or garage. It is freestanding, so it needs a flat floor and should be anchored with the included anti-tip kit.
