Questions and answers

Is the Sonictrek Sling worth buying?
It suits light outdoor use where portability and water resistance matter more than volume. If you want room-filling sound or USB-C charging, look at other options first.
How long does the battery last?
Sonictrek claims over 8 hours of play time. Real-world runtime will drop at higher volume, so expect less if you push it.
Is it really waterproof?
It is described as waterproof with a sealed, all-weather design. That should handle splashes and rain, but it is not rated for submersion.
How do you charge it?
It charges through a Micro USB port with the included cable. There is no USB-C support, so keep a Micro USB cable handy.
What comes in the box?
The speaker, a Micro USB charging cable and an instruction manual. No wall adapter is listed.
When is it cheapest?
Outdoor speakers like this usually dip during summer sales and Black Friday. Check the price history on this page before buying.
