Our take on the Sony Alpha a6600 Mirrorless Camera

The Sony Alpha a6600 is an APS-C mirrorless camera with a 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor, in-body image stabilization and a weather-sealed body. It is sold here with the 18-135mm F2.8 zoom, a 27-202.5mm equivalent range that covers wide to telephoto. Its standout is autofocus: 425 phase-detect points with real-time eye tracking for people and animals, plus a large battery rated around 810 shots. At $949 at Willoughby's Photo Emporium as of November 6, 2026, it sits well below its launch price and near the low end of its recent range.
