The Sony Alpha a6000 is a 24.3MP APS-C mirrorless camera released in 2014 that still sells new. It pairs a 3-inch screen with an electronic viewfinder, Wi-Fi, a built-in flash and a hot shoe for external flashes. Its contrast-detection autofocus and 2014-era video specs are dated next to newer bodies. The best new price is $649 at Willoughby's Photo Emporium as of November 7, 2026, with only 2 stores listing it new, so it is no longer a budget pick.
