Is the Sony Bravia 5 85-inch worth it?

For a large room and a mix of movies, sports and gaming, yes. The Mini LED panel is bright and the 120 Hz screen handles motion well. If you sit close or want OLED-level blacks, a smaller OLED may suit you better.

How does it compare with the Bravia 7 or Bravia 9?

The Bravia 5 sits below the Bravia 7 and Bravia 9 in Sony's Mini LED lineup. The step-up models add more dimming zones and higher brightness, so the Bravia 5 is the value pick if you do not need peak HDR performance.

Does it support 4K at 120 Hz for PS5 and Xbox?

Yes. The 120 Hz panel and HDMI 2.1-class inputs support 4K at 120 Hz for current consoles. Check that your console and cable are set up for the higher bandwidth mode.

What is included in the bundle?

Bundle contents vary by retailer, so confirm the exact extras before buying. The TV itself includes the stand, remote and power cable.

What size room suits an 85-inch TV?

Plan for about 10 to 13 feet from the screen for mixed viewing. The set is wide and heavy, so measure the wall or stand and check the mount rating first.

When is the best time to buy?

Large TVs like this usually drop around Black Friday, the Super Bowl and end-of-model clearance. The $2,498 at Best Buy as of November 3 is already near its recent low.
