Is the PS5 Disc Edition worth it over the Digital Edition?

Yes if you buy physical games, sell or lend discs, or want 4K Blu-ray playback. The Digital Edition is cheaper up front but locks you to the PlayStation Store.

Can it play PS4 games?

Yes. Most PS4 titles run on the PS5, and many load faster or run at higher frame rates. A small number of games have compatibility issues.

How much storage does it have, and can I add more?

It ships with a 1 TB SSD. You can add an M.2 NVMe SSD that meets Sony's speed requirements for more space.

What comes in the box?

The console, one DualSense controller, an HDMI cable, a power cord and a stand. Games are not included.

Does it need a 4K TV to be useful?

No. It works on 1080p TVs and still delivers faster loads and higher frame rates. A 4K 120 Hz TV with HDMI 2.1 gets the most out of it.
