Our take on the Sony PlayStation 5 Slim Call of Duty Modern Warfare III Console with Accessories
This is Sony's slimmer PS5, the 2023 redesign with a 1TB-class drive, bundled with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and extra accessories. The Slim cuts volume versus the launch PS5 and adds a second USB-C port up front, while keeping the same 4K gaming, ray tracing and Blu-ray drive. The bundle suits someone buying a console and a big multiplayer shooter in one go. Pricing on bundles like this moves with retailer promotions, so compare the current offer against the standalone console plus the game.
- Smaller and lighter than the original PS5
- Disc drive plays PS5 and PS4 discs plus 4K Blu-rays
- Includes Modern Warfare III, a full-price game
- Second front USB-C port for charging
- Runs quiet under normal load

Questions and answers
- Is the PS5 Slim worth it over the original PS5?
- Yes if you want a smaller console with the same performance. The Slim runs the same games at the same settings, adds a second USB-C port and uses less space.
- How much storage does it have, and can I expand it?
- It has 825GB of built-in SSD storage, with roughly 700GB usable after the system software. You can add an M.2 NVMe SSD for more space.
- Does it play physical discs and Blu-rays?
- Yes. This model has a Blu-ray drive, so it plays PS5 and PS4 discs and 4K Blu-ray movies.
- Is Modern Warfare III included as a disc or a code?
- Bundles vary by retailer. Check the listing to see whether the game ships on disc or as a download voucher.
- Can I use my PS4 games and accessories?
- Most PS4 games are backward compatible, and DualShock 4 controllers work with PS4 titles. PS5 games need a DualSense controller.
- When is this bundle cheapest?
- Bundle prices drop around Black Friday, the holidays and console price cuts. Compare the bundle price against the standalone console plus the game.
