Our take on the Sony PlayStation PC The Last of Us Part 1

The Last of Us Part I is the 2022 remake of Naughty Dog's 2013 post-apocalyptic action-adventure, rebuilt for PS5 and later ported to PC. This PC download from Steam includes the full Joel and Ellie story plus the Left Behind prequel chapter, with 4K support, ultrawide 21:9 and 32:9 ratios, DLSS and FSR 2.2 upscaling, and DualSense haptics over a wired connection. Its latest best price is $23.92 at instant-gaming.com as of October 30, 2026, near the bottom of its recent $23.92–$26.62 range. Questions and answers

Is The Last of Us Part I on PC worth it at this price?
At $23.92 at instant-gaming.com as of October 30, 2026, it is close to the cheapest it has been recently and well below the $59.99 launch price. If you want the story with modern visuals, it is a strong buy; check that your PC meets the requirements, since stability complaints are common.
How does the PC version compare with the PS5 remake?
It is the same rebuilt game with the same story and Left Behind chapter. The PC version adds DLSS, FSR 2.2 and ultrawide support but has a rougher performance record than the PS5 release.
Does it run well on older PCs?
It is demanding. The port launched with heavy CPU and GPU requirements, and many owners report crashes and stutter even on capable hardware. A recent GPU and a patch-updated install help, but it is not a light game.
What is included in the download?
You get a Steam key for the full single-player campaign and the Left Behind prequel chapter. There is no multiplayer and no physical disc.
Does it support a controller?
Yes. DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers work over a wired USB connection; wireless use loses those features. Keyboard and mouse are also supported.
When is it cheapest?
It has traded between $23.92 and $26.62 since late October 2026, so the current $23.92 is effectively the floor of that window. Deeper discounts are most likely during major Steam and seasonal sales.
Is the Sony PlayStation PC The Last of Us Part 1 at its lowest price?
The lowest price we've seen is $23.92 at instant-gaming.com on October 30.
