Is The Last of Us Complete worth it?

Yes if you have played neither game; you get a full remake and a remaster in one purchase. If you already own either on PS4, weigh the upgrades against buying only the one you are missing.

Do I need to play Part I before Part II?

You can play Part II first, but the story hits harder in order. Part I sets up the characters and the ending that drives Part II.

Is this a disc or a download?

It is a download edition. There is no disc; you redeem and install both games on your PS5, so you need a PlayStation Network account and enough SSD space.

How much storage does it need?

Plan for roughly 100 GB or more with both games installed. Part II Remastered alone is around 80 GB, so free up space before downloading.

What is different in Part II Remastered?

It adds a roguelike survival mode called No Return, cut levels playable for the first time, and DualSense haptics and adaptive trigger support. It also runs at higher frame rates on PS5.

Our take on the Sony The Last of Us Complete

The Last of Us Complete bundles both of Naughty Dog's post-outbreak games for PlayStation 5: The Last of Us Part I, a full remake of the 2013 original, and The Last of Us Part II Remastered. It is a download-only edition, so there is no disc; the games install to the PS5's SSD and need roughly 100 GB or more of free space for both. For anyone who has not played the series, it is the cheapest way to get both games in one purchase; shoppers should compare it against buying each title separately on sale.
