Yes, if you like story-driven action games. That is well under the $70 launch price and near the low end of its recent range, and the campaign runs 20 to 30 hours.

Do I need to play Fallen Order first?

It helps. Survivor picks up five years after Fallen Order and references its characters and events, so the story lands better if you play that first.

How does it run on PS5?

It offers Performance mode at 60fps and a Quality mode at higher resolution and 30fps. Performance mode is the better pick for combat, though some areas still dip.

How long is the game?

About 20 hours for the main story and 30 or more with side content and exploration.

The PS5 disc and the standard case insert. There is no extra DLC code in the standard edition.

It has fallen to around $20 to $30 in major sales. At $26.51 it is already close to that floor, so waiting may save only a few dollars.

Our take on the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for PlayStation 5

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is Respawn's 2023 action-adventure sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, following Cal Kestis five years later as he fights the Empire across planets like Koboh and Jedha. It adds new stances (dual-blade, blaster, crossguard) on top of the original single and double-bladed lightsabers, plus larger, more open levels. On PS5 it runs in Performance or Quality modes and supports the DualSense's haptics and adaptive triggers. At $26.51 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026, it sits well below its $70 launch price and near the low end of its recent range.
