The Stinky Original is a round, single-piece metal ashtray with a polished silver finish and a windproof bowl designed to keep ash and embers in place outdoors. It weighs 15.2 oz, so it stays put on a patio table but is heavy enough to notice in a bag. The best new price is $14.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, against five stores listing it new. That is near the low end for a branded metal ashtray, though the spread across stores is modest.

Owners of the Stinky metal ashtray generally describe it as sturdy and effective at keeping ash contained in wind. Complaints center on the open bowl collecting rain and the finish showing wear.
