Our take on the Storied Home Pleated Cotton Lampshade with Ruffled Floral Edge

The Storied Home pleated cotton lampshade is a small bell-shaped clip-on shade, 4.25 inches high and 5.5 inches wide, with a pleated cotton body and a ruffled floral edge. Its size and shape suit chandeliers, sconces and small accent lamps rather than table lamps. It is a decorative piece, so buy it for the look, not for light output. Questions and answers

What size fixture does this shade fit?
It is 4.25 inches high and 5.5 inches wide, sized for chandeliers, sconces and small accent lamps. Measure your fixture arm and bulb clearance before ordering.
Does it clip on or screw on?
It is a small bell shade meant for chandelier-style fittings. Confirm the attachment type on the listing matches your socket before you buy.
Will it fit a standard table lamp?
Usually not. At 5.5 inches wide it is too small for most table lamp bases and is intended for chandeliers and accent fixtures.
Is the cotton shade washable?
Spot clean only is the safe approach for pleated cotton. Do not machine wash or soak it, since the pleats and ruffled edge can lose shape.
Is it worth it?
It is worth it if you want a cottage or floral look on a small fixture. Skip it if you need a large shade or easy-clean material.
When is it cheapest?
Decorative shades like this tend to dip during seasonal home sales and clearance events. Track the price history and buy when it falls below its recent range.
