Does it include a mattress?

No. The listing covers the bed frame, desk, drawers, cabinets and slats. You supply a standard twin mattress.

Do I need a box spring?

No. The frame includes slats, so a twin mattress can sit directly on them.

What mattress thickness works with a loft?

Keep the mattress fairly thin, around 6 to 8 inches, so the guardrail stays above it and headroom under the loft is not reduced.

How much assembly does it need?

It arrives flat-packed and needs full assembly of the frame, desk, drawers and cabinets. Set aside a few hours and two people.

Is it safe for a young child?

It is a loft with a ladder, so it suits older kids and teens better than young children. Check the guardrail height against your mattress once assembled.

When is the best time to buy it?

Furniture prices often dip around major holiday sales and back-to-school season. Check the price history on this page to see where the current price sits.

Our take on the Streamdale Twin Size Wooden Loft Bed with Desk, Drawers, Cabinets

The Streamdale Twin Size Wooden Loft Bed is a beige wood-frame loft that lifts a twin mattress above a built-in desk, drawers and cabinets, so one footprint covers sleep and study. It ships with slats, so no box spring is needed, and the storage is part of the frame rather than add-on furniture. It suits a child's or teen's room where floor space is tight. No current price or recent price range was provided, so check the price history before buying.
