Is the SUGIFT TV stand worth it?

At $176.99 at JCPenney as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a 71-inch console with four closed cabinets. Expect engineered-wood construction, not solid wood, so it is a value pick rather than a heirloom.

What size TV fits on it?

The top is 71 inches wide, which comfortably holds TVs up to about 75 inches. Check the TV's stand width against the top depth before buying.

Does it have open shelves for devices?

No. All storage is behind four cabinet doors. Devices that need ventilation or remote-line-of-sight, like a cable box, are better placed on top or in a cabinet you leave open.

How hard is assembly?

It is flat-pack engineered wood, so plan on an hour or more with two people. Keep the hardware bag labeled and don't overtighten the cam locks.

JCPenney is the only store pricing it new at $176.99 as of November 3, 2026, so there is no competing price to wait for. Watch for store-wide furniture sales rather than product-specific drops.

Our take on the SUGIFT Mid Century Modern TV Stand with 4 Storage Cabinets, 71-in

The SUGIFT Mid Century Modern TV Stand is a 71-inch engineered-wood console in a brown finish, with four closed storage cabinets and a tapered-leg mid-century profile. It suits large TVs and living rooms that need hidden storage for media, cables and clutter. At $176.99 at JCPenney as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price tracked, so there is no recent range to compare against.
