Our take on the Sunbuck 2000W Bluetooth 5.0 HiFi Stereo Receiver Karaoke Power Amplifier

The Sunbuck 2000W Bluetooth 5.0 HiFi Stereo Receiver is a low-cost home amplifier with Bluetooth streaming, karaoke microphone inputs and a built-in DVD player. The 2000W figure is peak marketing power, not RMS output, so expect modest real-world loudness for a small room or patio setup. It is a budget all-in-one for casual listening and karaoke rather than a serious hi-fi component.

Questions and answers

Is the 2000W rating real?
No. That is a peak marketing figure. Real continuous output per channel is much lower, enough for a small room or patio but not for large parties.
Does it have HDMI or optical inputs?
No. Inputs are analog and Bluetooth, plus the built-in DVD player. TVs and consoles need RCA or aux connections.
Can I use it for karaoke?
Yes. It has microphone inputs with echo control, which is the main reason buyers pick it. You supply your own wired mics.
What comes in the box?
Typically the amplifier, a remote control, a power cable and a basic manual. Speakers and microphones are not included.
How does it compare with a soundbar?
A soundbar is better for TV audio and simpler to set up. This amp makes more sense if you already own passive speakers or want karaoke inputs.
When is it cheapest?
Budget amps like this see the deepest discounts around Black Friday and back-to-school sales. Check the price history before buying.
