At $2.99 it is a cheap experiment. Treat it as a supplement to your filter, not a fix for poor filtration or overfeeding.

Will it clear cloudy water?

It is marketed to polish water and break down uneaten food. Cloudiness from bacteria blooms or poor maintenance usually needs water changes and filter cleaning first.

Does it work in saltwater tanks?

SunGrow lists it for freshwater and saltwater. Rinse the bag before use and keep it away from sensitive invertebrates until you see how the tank responds.

Does it change pH or hardness?

The listing says it does not alter water parameters. Test your water after adding it if your fish are sensitive.

One mesh bag, 9 x 6.3 inches, with the resin pellets inside and a plastic closure. Check the seams before putting it in the filter.

Where does it go in the filter?

Place the bag in your filter where water flows through it. The listing also suggests pairing it with a CO2 diffuser system.
