Best forSeniors and joint-sensitive usersSmall apartments and tight home gymsLow-impact cardio and rehab-style movementBeginners who want an affordable first machine
Pros
  • Low-impact stride is easy on knees, hips and joints
  • Moving arms work the upper body along with the legs
  • 30-inch stride gives a longer, more natural range than many compact trainers
  • Folds up and is light enough to move and store
  • Bluetooth pairs with the free SunnyFit app for tracking and guided workouts
  • Low price for a full-body cardio machine
Cons
  • Air resistance depends on how hard you push; there is no motorized or magnetic resistance
  • No preset resistance levels or programs on the machine itself
  • Calorie readout is basic; most workout data lives in the app
  • Light frame can rock or feel less stable at fast speeds
  • Not a substitute for a full-size elliptical for serious training

Questions and answers

Is the Sunny Smart Air Walker good for bad knees?
It is built for low-impact movement, and owners with knee and hip issues often say it is comfortable. Check with your doctor first if you have a joint condition.
Does it have adjustable resistance?
No. Resistance comes from air and your own effort, so there are no levels to dial in. You go harder by moving faster or pushing the arms more.
How big is it and does it fold?
It has a 30-inch stride and a foldable frame for storage. It is light enough for one person to move, but check the footprint against your space.
Do I need the SunnyFit app to use it?
No. You can use it without the app, but the console only shows calories. The app adds workout tracking and guided content over Bluetooth.
Is $159.99 a good price?
That is the best new price across the two stores listing it, at Walmart as of November 8, 2026. It is a low entry point for a full-body cardio machine.

The trainer and assembly hardware are included. The SunnyFit app is a free download, and you supply your own device for it.
