Our take on the Superior Egyptian Cotton 1000 Thread Count Solid Sheet Set
This is a four-piece queen sheet set from Superior made of 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton with a solid pattern and pockets cut for mattresses up to 18 inches deep. The high thread count and deep pockets are the selling points for people with thick mattresses or toppers. At $69.95 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Questions and answers
- Is 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton at this price realistic?
- Treat the label with some caution. Budget sets at this thread count often use fine multi-ply yarns rather than long-staple single-ply cotton, which can feel denser and pill sooner. It can still be soft and serviceable, but do not expect hotel-grade hand feel.
- Will it fit a thick mattress?
- Yes, the fitted sheet is cut for mattresses up to 18 inches deep, which covers most pillow-tops and many mattress-plus-topper setups.
- What comes in the set?
- A queen set typically includes one flat sheet, one fitted sheet and two pillowcases.
- How should I wash it?
- Wash in cold or warm water on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. High heat shrinks cotton and roughens the surface, and avoiding fabric softener helps keep it absorbent.
- Is $69.95 a good price?
- It is the only new price listed as of November 5, 2026, so there is nothing to compare it to. Judge it against what you would pay for a comparable queen cotton set elsewhere.
- Where can I buy the Superior Egyptian Cotton 1000 Thread Count Solid Sheet Set?
- 2 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, Gilt.com.
