Is this rug safe for uncovered outdoor use?

It is labeled for outdoor placement and polyester handles sun and damp well. Even so, most makers suggest a covered spot to extend life, and standing water should be brushed off.

Can it go in a washing machine?

No. Care is spot clean only with mild detergent. Vacuum or sweep loose dirt, blot spills, and let it air dry fully.

What size is it exactly?

It measures 30 inches wide by 96 inches long, a runner shape. Pile height is about 0.51 inch, roughly half an inch thick.

Will it slide on a wood deck or concrete?

No non-slip backing is listed. On smooth decks or tile, use a rug pad rated for outdoor use to keep it in place.

How does polyester compare with polypropylene for an outdoor rug?

Both resist moisture and fading. Polyester tends to feel softer, while polypropylene is often more stain-resistant and easier to rinse; this rug's thicker pile also holds more debris than flat weaves.

When is the best time to buy it?

Outdoor rugs usually discount in late summer and early fall as patio stock clears. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its low.
