Is the Surya Elaziz rug good for pets and kids?

Yes. Polypropylene is stain-resistant and the flatweave has no long fibers for claws to snag. Spot clean spills quickly and vacuum regularly.

Does it need a rug pad?

It has no backing, so a pad is recommended on hard floors to stop sliding and add cushioning. On carpet it stays put better.

What sizes does it come in?

It is sold in rectangle, round and square shapes, including a 108 x 31 inch runner. Measure your space and check the size before ordering, since the pattern scale changes with size.

Is it safe for heated floors?

Polypropylene handles moderate floor heat, but a pad rated for heated floors is the safer choice. Check the pad's rating before use.

Spot clean with mild soap and water, then blot dry. Vacuum without a beater bar on high suction. Do not machine wash it.

Our take on the Surya Elaziz Area Rug

The Surya Elaziz is a machine-woven polypropylene rug in a Moroccan-inspired pattern, sold in rectangle, round and square shapes. It is a flatweave with a medium pile about 0.26 inches thick and no backing, so it lays flat but wants a pad on hard floors. Polypropylene makes it fade- and stain-resistant and easy to spot clean, which suits living rooms, kitchens and other high-traffic spots. The 108 x 31 inch runner is one of several sizes; check the size you need against its recent price range before buying.
