Our take on the Swing-N-Slide Monteagle Swing Set

The Monteagle is a wooden backyard play set for kids 2 to 10, built around a cedar tower with a high-rail wave slide, heavy-duty swings and a ring/trapeze combo. The swing beam is rated to 345 lbs and the whole set to 1,155 lbs, and the chains are Plastisol coated to cut down on pinched fingers. It is ASTM/CPSIA certified but needs a large yard: about 30 ft by 28 ft of clear space. At $1,362.01 at Wayfair as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of what it has recently sold for, with three stores listing it new.
