Questions and answers

Is $40.99 a good price for this heater?
It is the only new price listed, $40.99 at Walmart as of November 8, 2026. That is low for a 1,500W oil-filled radiator, which usually sells for more.
How much does it cost to run?
At 1,500W it uses about 1.5 kWh per hour at full output, so roughly $0.25 an hour at a 17-cent rate. The thermostat cycles the element off, so real use is lower.
Can it heat a large room?
It suits small to mid-size rooms best. Oil radiators warm slowly, and 1,500W is the standard maximum for a 120V household circuit.
Does it need assembly?
No. Oil-filled radiators ship filled and sealed; you attach the castors or feet, stand it upright, and plug it in.
Is it safe to leave on overnight?
It has automatic shut-off and a thermostat, and oil radiators have no exposed flame or element. Keep it clear of curtains and furniture and follow the manual's clearance guidance.
How does it compare with a fan heater?
A fan heater warms a room faster but is noisier and stops giving heat the moment it switches off. This radiator is silent and holds warmth longer.
Where is the Taoset 1500W Oil Filled Radiator Heater with Adjustable Thermostat cheapest?
At Walmart, for $40.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Taoset 1500W Oil Filled Radiator Heater with Adjustable Thermostat?
Rated 3.7 out of 5 from 77 ratings.
