Is the TCL 85-inch QM8 worth it?

For a very bright, very large Mini-LED TV with 120 Hz gaming support, it is a strong pick if your room can fit 85 inches. Check the actual selling price first, because the $99,999.00 listing at appliancepartstore as of November 3, 2026 is not a normal price for this set.

How does the QM8 compare with the QM7 or QM6?

The QM8 sits above the QM7 and QM6 in TCL's lineup, with higher peak brightness, more dimming zones and a better speaker system. The step-down models cost less but give up some HDR punch and contrast.

Does the QM8 support 4K 120 Hz gaming?

Yes. It has a 120 Hz native panel, Game Accelerator 240 and Auto Game Mode, and it supports 4K at 120 Hz on compatible HDMI 2.1 inputs. Check that your console or PC and cable support HDMI 2.1.

How big is the 85-inch QM8 and will it fit my wall?

An 85-inch screen is roughly 74 inches wide and 43 inches tall before the stand, so measure your wall and viewing distance first. Plan for two people and a sturdy mount, since the panel is heavy.

What is in the box with the TCL QM8?

You get the TV, a stand, a remote, a power cable and basic documentation. HDMI cables and a wall mount are not included.

When is the QM8 cheapest?

Large TVs like this usually drop around Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the Super Bowl sales window. Track the price history here rather than buying at the first listed price.
